Superintendent

 

 

I am honored and blessed to have the opportunity to be Superintendent of the Pierce County School System.  I am committed to working diligently to promote excellence in education across all of its five schools.

A positive culture in an organization separates the good from the great. As a leader in education, I recognize the importance of everyone’s position and the value of everyone as a human being.  I believe in servant leadership and that buy-in to an organization’s vision comes only when the leader establishes relationships founded on trust and accountability for all.   I strongly believe in giving people the tools and resources to be successful in their jobs and in giving them the freedom to do it.   Our school district has achieved many state and national accomplishments over the past decade, and I can not wait to see what we accomplish next.

Our Schools are committed to providing a quality education to all students in our community.  We are blessed to have dedicated teachers who have worked tirelessly all year, even during a worldwide pandemic.  I am thankful to serve Pierce County as Superintendent and look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence that has been established in academics, athletics, and the arts.  We are Pierce!
