1.  What happens if my child misses the bus?

You are responsible for your child's attendance.

2.  If my child lives near one elementary school, but would like to attend another district elementary school, will bus transportation be provided?

No. Only busses who are assigned to a particular zone will service that designated school.

3.  How long will my child be at the bus stop before the bus will arrive in the morning?

Students should be at their bus stop 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup.

4.  Does a school bus deliver or pickup from area daycare centers?

5.  Can area road conditions affect my childs bus route?

yes; road conditions relating to weather and/or occurances may result in your childs bus being diverted from its normal scheduled stop

6.  Are bus drivers trained annually?

Yes; Four hours of state training occurs before school starts and 12 hours of additional training occurs during the year.

7.  My child lives within 1.5 miles of the school; will my child be able to ride the bus?

In most cases, all efforts are made to ensure each child in our school district is able to ride our busses if needed; Bus ridership is encouraged.
